Why We
“Support Those Who Take on Challenges”

I grew up watching my grandmother manage a kimono shop. She was always full of responsibility and smiles, staying positive no matter what challenges came her way. From her, I learned that “if you make decisions with responsibility, you can smile even in failure.” I want to be that kind of person and, at the same time, “support those who take on challenges.”

Chapter 1 : Inception

“Problem-solving clothing”

When I was working as a consultant after university, I realized there were hardly any “work clothes that allowed me to feel elegant as an executive without spending time on outfit selection and care, while also being comfortable all day long”. This realization inspired me to create “high-quality work clothes that address the challenges faced by busy individuals.”

Chapter 2 : Challenge

Commitment to "Made in Japan"

To create garments that embody the ideal of "Japan quality," we needed to use high-quality Japanese materials and superior sewing techniques. Sewing highly elastic materials into complex structures is daunting. While most factories said 'No,' we were fortunate to find skilled artisans, quickly connecting with them to craft each piece with care at a Tokyo sewing factory.

Chapter 3 : Future

“Bringing Made in Japan to the World”

In the 1990s, Japanese-made apparel accounted for 50% of the domestic market, but now it is just 1%. By committing to 100% "Made in Japan," we aim to preserve the artisans' passion and the "traditional Japanese techniques" honed through years of effort, ensuring they are passed on to future generations and shared with the world. This change makes the phrase sound more natural in English.
